How to Obtain a Building Permit

Building, Electrical and Plumbing Permits and Zoning Codes

Building Permits are performed by CC & I Services.
Business License are required prior to the building permits located at 112 Main Street. or online. Click Here

Building Permits are required for all new construction and for repairs/renovations.

All new homes require a plan review & plans should be submitted with the permit application. All commercial projects require a plan review prior to permit issuance. Plan review application must be submitted with plans. Review comments are typically provided 7-10 business days after payment are processed. Plats must be provided.

"View Permits and Forms" once there select the needed permit application.

To schedule inspections, call the office at 864-586-6111 Ext 3.

All inspections must be received by 4 pm for next business day inspection.
